Jenny graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in May 2002 with her Bachelors of Science in Early Childhood/Elementary Education. In December of 2018 she received her Masters Degree in Special Education from the University of Missouri, St. Louis.
In 2004 Jenny was elected as Chapter Treasurer for the Lewis & Clark Chapter of NFB, then elected Vice President in 2015 and finally Chapter President in 2021. In 2017 Jenny was elected as a Board Member for the National Federation of the Blind of Missouri, in 2019 she was elected 2nd. Vice President and elected 1st. Vice President in 2023.
Jenny has been employed as a Classroom Teacher and Mentor Teacher. She is currently working for the State of Missouri as a Parent Advisor and for the National Federation of the Blind of Missouri as the Mission BEAM Program Coordinator.
