STEM2U

The National Federation of the Blind works to improve opportunities for blind students in the areas of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. In NFB STEM2U, we are bringing what we have learned directly to students and families in their homes. Students of varying ages will receive instruction from NFB personnel and expert instructors.

STEM2U Workshop - Solve the Mystery!

Science Experience for Blind and Low-Vision Students Join the NFB of Missouri for an exciting day of investigation and discovery! This year, blind and low-vision students will step into the role of forensic scientists.  Using accessible, nonvisual tools and techniques, participants will analyze clues, solve challenges, and uncover the truth through hands-on forensic experiments.  Every activity builds confidence and shows how science can be accessible, engaging, and exciting for everyone.

This opportunity offers your child:
• Blind role models
• Accessible experiments
• Hands-on nonvisual skills instruction

This program is free to all registered blind and low-vision youth (grades 3-12).
