Missouri BELL Volunteer Application

The National Federation of the Blind of Missouri is proud to have the opportunity to host two Braille Enrichment for Literacy & Learning (BELL) Academies this summer. One will be in Springfield and the other will be in St. Louis. We are in search of volunteers who can help in a variety of ways. If you are interested in volunteering to help us put on a successful BELL Academy this summer, please fill out this application so that we will have a good idea of all of the wonderful talents of our volunteers.

All volunteers must be willing to be flexible within our daily schedules, able to work as a team player, and most importantly enjoy being around children. By filling out this form you are giving the Missouri affiliate permission to run a background check. This is a requirement to ensure the safety of all of the children who will be participating in the BELL Academy.

We will be holding volunteer training and program planning meetings over Zoom. We will be sending out more details about these calls by email in the next few months. Thank you for your time as a BELL Academy volunteer, we look forward to working with you this summer.
