The Kansas City Chapter of the National Federation of the Blind of Missouri holds monthly meetings, generally on the third Saturday of each month. However, since there are occasional changes in the date and location, make sure to read our News & Announcements section below for timely updates. News & Announcements
We will be having our 2019 Walk for Independence on August 10, 2019 at Loose Park, 5200 Wornall Rd. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and we will start walking at 10:30 a.m. If you want to sponsor this event or make donations, please call our chapter information line at 816-505-5520. The Walk for Independence is one of the NFB of Kansas City's major fundraiser. The proceeds from the walk help us fund the programs of the NFB which help blind children, adults, and seniors live the lives we want.
