We are blind people who believe that blindness does not hold us back from living the lives we want. We welcome you to come and join us. Acquaint yourself with our chapter, and our work on behalf of Kansas City's blind.
The Kansas City Chapter of the National Federation of the Blind of Missouri holds monthly meetings, generally on the third Saturday of each month. However, since there are occasional changes in the date and location, make sure to read our News & Announcements section below for timely updates. News & Announcements
- Our Christmas Party will be on December 14 from 2 to 4 pm at the North Cross United Methodist Church, 1321 NE Vivion Rd, Kansas City, MO 64118. Please let us know by December 7 if you are coming so that our cateror knows how much food to prepare.
- During the November 16 meeting we had a discussion about the city council's proposal to eliminate bus fares. I subsequently wrote a letter to the editor of the Kansas City Star which was published on November 20. Click here to read it.
